This address will lead you directly to the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid, which are located in Cowles Hall. Parking is available in the lots next to Cowles Hall.

Driving Directions

From Route 17 (Interstate 86) westbound: (From Binghamton, Albany, NYC & New England)

  • Take Exit 56 (Route 352--Church Street)
  • Follow directions from Exit 56

From Route 17 (Interstate 86) eastbound: (From Corning, Rochester, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Ohio)

  • Take Exit 56 (Route 352--Church Street)
  • Follow directions from Exit 56

From Route 13 southbound: (From Ithaca, Cortland, Syracuse)

  • Follow Route 13 south to the junction with Route 17 (Interstate 86) eastbound to Exit 56 (Route 352--Church Street)

From Exit 56:

  • Follow Route 352 (Church Street) to .Clemens Center Parkway
  • Turn right onto Clemens Center Parkway
  • Travel north two traffic lights, turning left at the second one onto Washington Avenue
  • Continue about 1/4 mile, then turn left onto Magee Street 
  • Turn right into the parking lots

From Route 14 northbound: (From central Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Williamsport, and US Route 15)

  • Follow Route 14, which becomes the Clemens Center Parkway
  • Continue on the Clemens Center Parkway through downtown Elmira to Washington Avenue
  • Turn left on Washington Avenue and proceed to the College

From Route 14 southbound: (From Geneva, Watkins Glen)

  • Follow Route 14 South until it becomes College Avenue
  • Follow College Avenue directly to the campus (Do not follow Route 14 when it turns left at Woodlawn Avenue)
  • Turn left at the light at Washington Avenue
  • Turn right onto Magee Street, then right into the parking lots

By Air:

The Elmira-Corning Regional Airport is 10 miles from campus and handles daily flights from several major cities using Allegiant, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines. Taxi service is available from the airport and within the city.

By Bus:

Greyhound, Short Line, and Adirondack Trailways serve the Elmira area. The bus station is less than a mile from the Elmira College campus.
